I stopped by the Of A Kind Roadshow in SoHo yesterday afternoon to scope out the scene, meet a few designers, and maybe buy myself an early birthday present. Of A Kind features on-the-rise fashion designers and offers customers a chance to purchase limited edition pieces designed exclusively for Of A Kind. Very cool concept.
I went to the sample sale before the after work rush, so it was quiet enough to take some time to chat with a few of the designers. Here are some of the pieces that caught my eye. (Click the photo to go to the designer’s site!)

I ended up walking out empty-handed, though I did circle around the sale a few times debating the Thomas IV handbag above. “If I use this bag every day for a year, it would only cost about a dollar a day, so that means it’s okay, right?”
